Gift Back Benefits
Whether buying or selling, our Affinity Rewards Programs offer up to 10% of our commissions back to the seller or to the home buyer at closing. This benefit can be used to cover some of the immediate costs associated with owning a new home such as new furniture or fixtures or any other purpose at the discretion of the buyer or seller.
Home Buyer Seminars
Home ownership correlates strongly with employee retention. In other words, employees that also own their own homes tend to stay with and to be more faithful to their employers for longer than renters. Real Traverse offers no-cost lunch seminars to teach your employees how to become home owners and to connect them with the resources they need to transition into home ownership. From free credit-counselling and budgeting guidance to action plans for credit-readiness, we will connect employees with Michigan-based resources and lenders. And, not to mention, lunch will be provided to your employees. We generally need three to four weeks notice to plan a home buyer seminar.
Inbound Relocation: Area Tours
If you have recruits or members moving into the area, we offer complimentary area tours. An agent will take your recruit (or potential recruit) out to see homes in her price range and show her resources that appeal to her interests and needs. If your recruit hasn’t decided to take a job offer, this can be a great resource to help them decide on if they’ll make the move. There is no cost associated with this service.
Mover Affinity Benefits
Through our partnership with Frisbie Moving (agent for United Van Lines) and Kurtz Movers – both Michigan moving companies – we offer affinity benefits for both families and households moving into the area from out of town (out of state) and for those moving in town, locally. From free move-budget counselling including free in-home estimates to peak-season discounts during high-volume move seasons (May through September), our mover affiliates will provide you with account-level services with local accountability and competitive pricing.

For home owners selling in the Greater Grand Traverse Area, Real Traverse offers twenty complimentary moving boxes during the pre-listing appointment. These boxes are offered to help sellers de-clutter their homes for the best market exposure. Additionally, Your Maintenance Guy, LLC offers low labor rates for de-clutter services to help remove clutter and debris.
